STEEP, a collaborative project that I worked on with the Intro to sculpture class I taught this summer at SUNY New Paltz. The structure serves as a self-sustaining herb garden where participants can pick their own herbs, dry them out in a solar dehydrator, and warm up water in a solar cooker for tea. The planters were constructed from a found dresser and the seating in the structure is from an old school bus. STEEP is installed at Unison Arts Center in New Paltz, NY until October 2017.
